Roberta (Lipka) Watson

Hello. I am Roberta (Lipka) Watson. I grew up with Gini in Cumminsville. We went to school together. Our parents knew each other. We went to the Salvation Army together. Brother Ed. played in my Dad's band. In later years Gini was a member of our Garfield Alumni luncheon club. When she moved to Bright, Ind. she was no longer able to be with us, and we missed her so much. We wish to extend our sympathy to the Strasser family, from all of us at the Garfield Reunion Organization, and from me as a long time friend.

"Aw Tim...….go ahead". I could here her say it from the street when Tim was grounded and I would show up at the bottom of the hill on the street and ask if he could come out...………….we did that many, many times. Her heart would not let her keep her boy and his buddy from hanging out. Truly a bright spot in the neighborhood, my memory, my life...……..Peace Mrs Strasser.
