Due to the nature of large families, and living on opposite sides of the United States, I did not spend much time hanging out with my Grandma Peg. I saw her every few years at Monnig family reunions. On these rare occasions, seeing her and talking to her always felt very natural and comfortable because she was such a kind, welcoming, fun and genuine person. She had an amazing memory for what each of her grandchildren were doing with their lives, which is remarkable considering the sheer number of grandchildren she had. She will be missed!

Mike and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to your entire family. Your mother was a joy to visit with and always so interesting to talk to. The photo below is of our Dad's , Lou Grome, 90th Birthday Party along with two of his brothers and sister, and of course Aunt Peg. Ninty was a good year!!! Her memory will always be cherrished. Such a warm heart and wonderful example to us all in so many ways. We will continue to hold your family in our prayers, Regina and Michael Grome

I always treasured the fun times I had with Aunt Peggy.
Having lunch with the three sisters was amazing. Sharing their love of Our Lord was so uplifting.
She loved her family deeply and unconditionally and was an inspiration to us all!

I adored my mother-in-law, Peg. She welcomed me into the family over 44 years ago with loving arms, a warm heart, and a wry sense of humor. She always remembered the names and ages of her grandchildren AND great-grandchildren. She wanted to be present at every family gathering and especially loved spending time with the little ones. What a treasure! Jackie Wedell
